Our last day of Rome we had gorgeous weather! God was just saving the best weather for last I guess.
We had purchased tickets which were good for two days, for both the Roman Forum and the Colosseum the previous day. After we had seen the Roman Forum we decided to wait and go to the Colosseum our last day since the weather was supposed to be nicer, and it ended up being a great idea!
Here are photos from the Colosseum!

In part of the 'interior' part of the Colosseum there was a permanent exhibit displaying artifacts that they had found either from digging them up, or that simply just existed from within the Colosseum.

(This Photo was considering to be the first 'graffiti' ever! During the events the audience would sometimes carve into the walls their favorite situations or 'fights' that they were watching, so neat!)

In the photo above you can see the what it looked like underneath the stage, where trap doors would lead to and animals would be held down there. They had rebuilt just a small portion to show that the main floor would have looked like, you can see it at the back of the photo.

(Above are views of the surroundings from inside!)

These are photos from just walking around and exploring of course =)

The photos below are of the Capital again, but this time during the day of course! And of the surroundings and view into the plaza area across the street.

We continued on to see the Pantheon once more, since it was so sunny that day. We wanted to see how the interior looked with the light shining in, so we took some photos of it, and also of the surrounding buildings...

I just want to say sorry because I unfortunately cannot comment on these photos as I would like to, or get too in depth with my adventures because it is currently coming closer and closer to the end of my semester here. And I have a ridiculous amount of work to finish and exams to study for during these next few weeks. But I still wanted to continue sharing my photos with you and trying to catch up on all of my Spring Break adventures! But once I am home, which I will be soo soon(!!), I will tell anyone any stories they want to hear at once =)
But anyways...
Back to the photographs...
After stopping by the Pantheon we decided to head to the Vatican to also see that in the daylight on such a wonderful bright day.

We continued on through the city...

There was this museum with old ruins inside of it that you could see through the glass, and this funny little 'art exhibit' along the sidewalk across from museum. I have no idea who put it there, but it was very humorous.

We stopped at this shop, photographed below, that had all kinds of vintage and new jerseys, sweaters, shoes, and scarves for all kinds of European sports teams. Drew got a really nice Juventus scarf there!

The above photo highlights the very strong axis of the street, leading all the way down to the capital building, which is framed in this view!
I also peaked into a few churches while walking, but felt rude and weird taking photographs inside of them. From my experience European's have very big problems with you trying to photograph the beautiful architecture and detail of the sacred places and churches. It is kind of frustrating to me because I am in no way trying to be disrespectful at all, oh well though. Here's some photos of one though which was really beautiful and detailed.

I love the above photo too because I took it outside of the actual chapel area where there is glass and it captured the edge of my body's silhouette on the left side! =)
Drew and I climbed the Spanish steps. They were so crowded it was crazy, such a popular place to just sit and relax!

Look what I found when walking...
How funny is that!!!!

We had dinner here and had amazing pasta, lasagna again, and margarita pizza which was delicious!

For fun I snapped a photo of the front and back of the bills I had from Rome once we got back to the room for the night. I love European currency, it is so beautifully designed with lots of color! I wish our money was that fun. But I thought it would be fun to remember what it looked like...

That concludes my trip to Rome! It was honestly such a beautiful and wonderful city. I am so glad we decided to stay there for three days =)
Next to come...
Athens, Greece!
Until then, I hope you enjoy!
Have a wonderful night.
