Barcelona

Ciao!
I'm sorry it has been a long time since I have posted anything! I have just been unbelievably busy with traveling and school.
These next few posts will be all about my traveling during spring break! I have soooooo many photographs from the trips though, so it is going to be so hard to chose just a limited amount to show you! But I will try my best =)

I started off in...

Barcelona, Spain!

On Friday we arrived in Barcelona, mid morning and thus began our many adventures!!...

Our hostel was wonderful, here are some photographs of the main rooms and our room. And the restaurant we ate lunch at.

Barcelona's public transit system was pretty decent, however I must say that Stockholm's was the absolute best I have experience thus far. The first day we decided to go check out the Lagrada Familia by Gaudi...

We continued walking around on Friday exploring the city and looking for more of Gaudi's architecture.

That's all for now! Time to get some dinner. Drew, Sean, Katie, and I are all going to the Warsaw Tortilla Factory for dinner. YUM! I will be back later tonight to finish this post with many more pictures from Barcelona =)

Now continuing with some Gaudi and other photos from walking around...

A picture of the four of us =)

Photographs of the view from up top after walking up all of the stairs!

Next we went to go check out the Barcelona Pavilion by Mies van der Rohe, it was amazing to actually be walking through it!!! Such an awesome experience...

There was this beautiful fountain right across from the Pavilion and the water moved up and down in coordination with music, a little choreographed show! Which was later lit up at night way many colors. It was crazy how many people were there just to see the fountain, it was funny.

We continued to climb the stairs and went to see the outside of the stadium as well as see Calatrava's Spire. It was absolutely perfect timing because the sun was just setting!

That basically concludes the first day in Barcelona!
Next to come: Day 2!... =D
